Why is Jatropha Biofuel a world-class investment

The Jatropha trees seeds are used to make Jatropha Biofuel which is now an established source of green oil and is being utilised for large scale energy production and also for transportation to power vehicles.

Green oil is a renewable energy source and almost totally carbon neutral in use especially Jatropha as the plant absorbs carbon dioxide as it grows, therefore helping to offset the carbon created when it is burnt.

Jatropha Production is good for poor 3rd world countries as it and can help to eradicate poverty. The Jatropha trees grow best in soil which is not suitable or rich enough for food production so therefore the production of Jatropha is a good option for third world countries to grow themselves out of poverty.

The returns for farmers from Jatropha are lower than they could receive from food, so there is no temptation to divert valuable agricultural land into Jatropha Biofuel production.

As well as green oil, the Jatropha trees produce fertiliser, latex and some medicinal by-products.

What is the importance of Green Oil like Jatropha Biofuel to the world?

Fossil fuels (coal, gas, petrol / oil) create greenhouse gases when burnt and this is causing irreparable damage to our planet and its environment.

The world’s supply of fossil fuels could diminish and run out: we should be urgently looking for replacement fuels from renewable power sources.

Politically unstable governments who have massive reserves of fossil fuels are constantly holding some of the fuel and oil dependent western countries to ransom.

Giving money to the governments of poor countries, then, walking away is an irresponsible and ineffective way to eradicate poverty.

World demand for energy (from whatever source) is forecast to have increased by 65% percent by the year 2030.

However the good news is that….

The technology to run transport and power generation on green oil and of course Jatropha Biofuel already exists.

Green oil from the Jatropha Curcas plant is a direct substitute for crude oil products (especially heavy fuel oils) and has a very similar calorific content, better lubricating properties and produces vastly lower emissions.
